Running is For Everyone

Who You Are

I enjoy working with motivated individuals who are ready to commit to the coaching process and do their utmost to succeed in their running. The most rewarding partnerships are with those who take ownership of their training, communicate openly, and are willing to be consistent over time.

Motivation, however, is intrinsic. It has to come from within, and while I can provide guidance, structure, and support, I can’t create that drive for you. What I can do is help channel your existing motivation in the most effective way, so you can progress, stay accountable, and achieve your goals.

Whatever Your Goals

Coaching

Working with a specialist endurance running coach provides structure, clarity, and confidence in your training, whatever your background or ability. A coach tailors your programme to your current ability, carefully managing training load and recovery to help you progress consistently while reducing the risk of injury.

Through effective training periodisation, sessions are planned to align with your goals and life demands, while supplementary training—such as strength, mobility, and conditioning—supports overall performance and durability. Importantly, running is for everyone, and having a coach helps make the sport accessible and enjoyable, guiding you to improve your fitness in a sustainable way that enhances both performance and general wellbeing.

Consistency is Key

Injury Clinic

Sports massage is a valuable tool for maintaining consistency in training by helping to keep the body functioning at its best. Regular preventative (maintenance) sessions can reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and support recovery, allowing you to train more effectively and with less risk of injury.

When niggles or injuries do arise, sports massage also plays a key role in injury assessment and treatment, identifying problem areas early and addressing them before they develop further. Combined with a tailored rehabilitation programme, this approach supports a safe and structured return to sport, restoring strength, mobility, and confidence so athletes can perform at their full potential.

What,When, and How You Eat Matters

Nutrition & Fuelling

Proper nutrition and fuelling are fundamental to supporting consistent, high-quality training in endurance running. By applying nutrition periodisation, adjusting energy and nutrient intake to match the demands of different training phases, you can optimise performance, whether that’s fuelling harder sessions, supporting adaptation during base training, or refining body composition closer to competition.

Adequate intake of carbohydrates, protein, fat, along with key micronutrients not only sustains energy levels but also plays a vital role in injury prevention by supporting muscle repair, immune function, and overall resilience. When injury does occur, well-structured nutrition accelerates recovery, helping to rebuild tissue, reduce inflammation, and maintain fitness, ultimately enabling a smoother and more effective return to training.
